Clim. Change. Code/data files to reproduce the figures in the full text are made available in this repository. Either browse/download files individually or use a service such as wget to download all files at the same time. Code availability: We provide code to reproduce the main results and all figures of the main paper. Data availability: We provide files/data needed to reproduce the study's results as intermediate data. This includes the . Due to storage and copyright constraints, original/raw CMIP5 and CMIP6, CanESM2 and NCAR LENS files have to be downloaded from their original sources (given in Acknowledgements). This README file contains: 1. Directory Structure 2. Reproduction of Figures 3. Data 1. Directory Structure # ---------------------------------------------------------------------- /figures: Contains scripts, .RData or NetCDf to reproduce all panels of figures 1-4. /data: Contains NetCDF files of annual 7-day temperature maxima for the two large ensembles (CESM1.2 and CESM-CAM4) that are not publically available 2. Reproduction of Figures: # ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To reproduce figures go to /figures. Each folder (e.g., /figure2) contains .R files or .ncl files that are executable and produce the respective figure panels, using code and data from the same directory. Additionally all raw figures are already contained in each figure directory as raw .pdf or .ps files. Note that the layout, colors, line thickness and labels of the raw .pdf and .ps have been substantially post-processed in Adobe Illustrator
